Ultimate Loaded Football Charcuterie Board - featured image

A quick and easy-to-assemble charcuterie board designed for tailgating, featuring a mix of cured meats, cheeses, crunchy elements, and dips for a crowd-pleasing game day spread.

Ingredients

  • Cured Meats (Salami, Pepperoni, Prosciutto)
  • Cheeses (Sharp Cheddar, Brie, Goat Cheese, Mini Mozzarella Balls)
  • Assorted Crackers (Water crackers, Wheat Thins, Cheese crackers)
  • Pretzels (Twists or sticks)
  • Chips (Potato chips or Pita chips)
  • Grapes (Red and green)
  • Strawberries
  • Pickles (Dill pickle spears or bread and butter)
  • Olives (Kalamata or green)
  • Marinara Sauce
  • Mustard (Whole grain or spicy brown)
  • Fruit Preserves (Apricot or fig jam)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the base by placing a clean serving board in a central location.
  2. Arrange small bowls or ramekins containing dips and sauces (marinara, mustard, preserves) on the board to anchor the layout.
  3. Cut cheeses into bite-sized pieces (cubes for cheddar, slices for brie) and place them in different sections of the board.
  4. Fold or roll cured meats (salami into spirals, pepperoni in fans) and arrange them near the cheeses.
  5. Fill empty gaps with crackers, pretzels, and chips, standing them upright or fanning them out for vertical interest.
  6. Scatter grapes, strawberries, and pickles around the board, using pickles as dividers between sections.
  7. Top with garnishes like olives, nuts, or seeds, and add fresh herbs for a polished look.

Notes

Take cheeses out of the fridge 30 minutes before serving for best flavor. Assemble the board as close to serving time as possible to prevent crackers from getting soggy. Aim for 2-3 ounces of meat and cheese per person.
