A festive, no-cook Halloween snack board featuring candy corn, sharp cheddar, cured meats, and chocolate clusters. This easy-to-assemble appetizer balances sweet, salty, and crunchy flavors for a crowd-pleasing presentation.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 23 cups Candy Corn
  • 1 cup Dark Chocolate Clusters
  • 1 cup Orange M&Ms or Reese’s Pieces
  • 1.5 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese Cubes
  • 810 slices Prosciutto or Ham Rolls
  • 68 slices Salami
  • 1 cup Pretzel Rods or Twists
  • 1 sleeve Crackers (e.g., Water crackers)
  • 1/2 cup Dried Apricots or Figs
  • 23 Mini Pumpkins or Gourds (for decoration)
  • 1/2 cup Black Olives or Kalamata Olives

Instructions

  1. Clear your counter and lay out your wooden board. Wipe it down with a damp cloth and let it dry completely.
  2. Place mini pumpkins or gourds at the corners or center to create height. Distribute small bowls or ramekins evenly across the board.
  3. Roll up prosciutto or ham slices loosely and arrange them in piles next to the bowls. Fold salami slices into rosettes and scatter them around the board.
  4. Add sharp cheddar cubes in small piles. Ensure cheese is at room temperature for best flavor.
  5. Break pretzel rods into manageable lengths. Stand them up in bowls or lay them across the board. Add crackers in a neat stack or fanned out.
  6. Pour candy corn into an empty bowl or create a stream across the board. Add dark chocolate clusters and orange M&Ms.
  7. Fill any empty white spaces with dried apricots, olives, or extra crackers until the board looks full and abundant.
  8. Step back and assess. Adjust items as needed and add optional garnishes like rosemary or powdered sugar.

Notes

[‘Cheese should be at room temperature for best flavor; take it out 30 minutes before serving.’, ‘Keep chocolate and candy away from direct sunlight or heat to prevent melting.’, ‘Do not refrigerate the assembled board as cheese will sweat and crackers will soften.’, ‘Can be assembled up to 2 hours before serving if covered.’]
