Easy, savory tailgate snacks made with refrigerated dough, cream cheese, ranch seasoning, sharp cheddar, and crispy bacon. Perfect for game day and crowd-pleasing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (or package of large flour tortillas)
  • 8 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) dry ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
  • 6 to 8 slices bacon, cooked until crisp and crumbled
  • 2 to 3 stalks green onions, finely chopped
  • Optional: Extra ranch seasoning or ranch dressing for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. If using crescent dough, unroll and press seams together. If using tortillas, lay them flat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, dry ranch seasoning, shredded cheddar, and crumbled bacon. Mix until smooth.
  4. Stir in chopped green onions.
  5. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a half-inch border at the edges.
  6. Starting from one long edge, tightly roll the dough into a log. Pinch seams to seal if using crescent dough.
  7. Slice the log into 1-inch thick rounds using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
  8. Place pinwheels cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until dough is golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Chill the rolled dough in the fridge for 15-20 minutes before slicing to ensure clean cuts. Ensure bacon is fully cooled and crisp to prevent soggy dough. Use freshly shredded cheese for better melting.
