  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (30ml)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt (to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Allow the oven to heat for at least 15 minutes.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes if using.
  3. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels to ensure crispy skin. Toss the chicken in the marinade until well coated. Let sit for 10-15 minutes if time allows (optional).
  4. Line a rimmed 9×13 inch baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Arrange the chicken thighs skin-side up on the sheet, spaced apart to avoid crowding.
