Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup (95g) all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 1/3 cup (35g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 810 Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs, chopped roughly
  • 1/3 cup (80g) creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl until just melted (about 30-40 seconds). Let it cool slightly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth and glossy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, whisking after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract until the batter is silky and thick.
  5. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a spatula, stopping as soon as no flour remains.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth to prepare the peanut butter swirl.
  8. Roughly chop the Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs into bite-sized pieces.
  9. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Drop half the peanut butter mixture in spoonfuls over the batter and sprinkle half the chopped Reese’s Eggs on top.
  10. Repeat layering with the remaining batter, peanut butter, and chopped candy.
  11. Use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the peanut butter into the brownie batter, creating distinct swirls.
  12. Bake for 25-30 minutes, checking at 25 minutes with a toothpick; a few moist crumbs indicate perfect doneness.
  13. Remove from oven and cool completely on a wire rack before cutting to allow peanut butter swirls to set.

Notes

Use room temperature eggs for best results. To prevent chopped Reese’s Eggs from sinking, toss them lightly in flour before mixing. Soften peanut butter slightly if too stiff for swirling. Cool brownies completely before cutting for cleaner slices. Check doneness at 25 minutes to avoid overbaking.
