A warm, gooey cinnamon pull-apart bread with a caramelized sugar glaze, perfect for cozy breakfasts, potlucks, or family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough (Pillsbury flaky biscuits preferred)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick), melted and slightly cooled
  • 1/4 cup honey or pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: chopped pecans or walnuts
  • Optional: powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your bundt pan generously with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. Open biscuit cans and separate dough into individual biscuits. Cut each biscuit into quarters, about 16-20 pieces total.
  3. In a small bowl, combine 1/4 cup granulated sugar with 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
  4. Toss each biscuit quarter in the cinnamon sugar mixture until well coated. Set aside.
  5. Place half of the coated dough pieces into the bottom of the bundt pan. If using nuts, sprinkle a handful over the dough layer.
  6. In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
  7. Pour half the glaze over the dough in the pan. Add remaining dough pieces on top and pour the rest of the glaze evenly over everything.
  8. Bake on the middle rack for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and glaze is bubbling. Start checking at 30 minutes if oven runs hot.
  9. Let the monkey bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Carefully invert onto a serving plate. Serve warm.
